how does a monk celebrate his birthday?

heyyy friends, I am glad I am able to get back online now...

I was out for one whole day yesterday ( on my 51st birthday ) errrr, I just turned 51 yesterday but not 52, LOL.... so, to you my dearest blogosphere sister Vera and my gorgeous blogosphere brother JP aka Elmo : I just turned 51 yesterday. (a roaring LOL!....)

How does a monk like me really celebrate his birthday?

Well, of course the main focus of his day is towards thanking God for another year of life that has been granted to him, then of course a monk should also not forget to pray for his family and friends who are away from him on the day of his great day!.... and most of all, a simple but meaningful celebration of the day should be observed...no lavish partying, no drunkenness, no loud frolicking....

These are more or less the ways in which a monk celebrates his birthday!

Let me tell you of how I celebrated my birthday last year: It was more or less observed in the manner a monk should celebrate.
I had a thirty-minute dinner with my Filipino friends in Espanyola NM, at Dan's residence with very few Filipino friends who live near Dan's place of residence.
The celebration was indeed a remarkable, memorable and unforgetable one...

I am now showing you a slideshow of my last year's birthday celebration, and as for my yesterday's birthday celebration, I am gonna reserve it for another post update!

Have a blessed day to all of you my dear friends! and THANK YOU for all your good wishes and warm greetings. I will keep you all in my prayers!
